Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT, MA, MFA (she, her)

The therapeutic relationship is where you can find a safe, supportive space for exploration, understanding, and growth. As a psychodynamic and object relations-oriented therapist, I help clients navigate the complexities of their inner world by examining the unconscious patterns, early relationships, and emotional experiences that shape their present lives. My approach is relational, compassionate, and non-judgmental.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, or a sense of disconnection, our work together will focus on uncovering deeper insights, fostering self-awareness, and creating meaningful change. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to your unique experiences, offering a space to feel heard, understood, and supported. I focus on working with adults and adolescents who experience challenges related to relational trauma, anxiety, OCD, major life transitions, ASD, and more.

As a first-generation therapist with a deep understanding of Middle Eastern culture, I recognize the complexities of navigating multiple identities, family expectations, and cultural transitions. My lived experience allows me to approach therapy with an inherent cultural sensitivity, creating a space where clients from diverse backgrounds feel truly seen and understood.

Prior to becoming a licensed marriage and family therapist, I worked in film and theater as a screenwriter and playwright. I obtained my MFA in Dramatic Writing from New York University Tisch School of the Arts and I utilize my intimate understanding of the creative process to work with highly gifted and creative individuals.

Services include individual 50-minute sessions conducted via Telehealth with clients residing in California.
